Where She Became Foundation is a Michigan-based nonprofit organization dedicated to serving women and young women experiencing housing instability.

We were founded to address the critical gap between emergency shelter and permanent housing — especially for women and youth who need time, support, and stability to rebuild.

To provide safe, empowering transitional housing for women and young women aging out of foster care, supporting stability, independence, and long-term success.
